Tapas episode #1: Smoked Oyster with Olive Oil and Sea Salt

It’s lacking the presentation skills but the taste makes up for that. Just a simple combination of really good ingredients.

Ingredients;

1/2 lb. smoked oysters
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Sea Salt               I used sel de mer  (worldspice.com)

Serve cold. Simple, easy, and tastes great.

  1. I’m not sure I’ve ever had a smoked oyster – that sounds really good. Where do you get them?

  2. I bought them canned at Whole Foods. I’m sure you would enjoy them.

  3. That was my immediate question, too! I like presentation but in the end, it’s going from the plate to the tastebuds and that’s where it really counts. This sounds delicious!
