I’ve seen a few variations where it is served at room temperatures and slightly warmed. I was in Ecuador and they gave you the choice. Either way, it’s fine. The alcohol warms you up anyway!

Use a Chardonnay for a white sangria. The juice is optional in the recipe, I should have mentioned that. A simple limeade would work, all flavors are just fine.

The most important thing with this recipe is to make sure you’re using good quality fruits, let it rest overnight in the refrigerator, make sure you have some friends to drink it with, and have a great time!!
