Aji Dulce Hot Sauce

(Click each picture to make it larger)

Travel to Puerto Rico, NOW! I’m a little biased but let me just explain something to you. This place is what dreams are made of, especially for a culinary obsessed person like myself. It’s a land where everyone can cook so you hear tips, techniques, and you have access to ingredients that are amazing. Case in point; Aji Dulce and Wild Oregano. What do I do? I make hot sauce baby…….it’s what I do.

Ingredients:

4 fresh Aji Dulce pods
1/4 cup distilled white vinegar
1 garlic clove
3 wild oregano leaves
1 tsp. salt

Blend all the ingredients in a food processor then place in a sauce pan and cook on low heat for 30 minutes. Remove from heat, strain, the place juice in refrigerator. Serve.

Enjoy,

Eric
