I missed my sister’s housewarming party on Saturday because of a catering gig so I stopped by on Saturday to hang out and do an impromptu cooking session. Her and her fiance, Dave, just bought a house so Mindy and I stopped by and I got to cooking, of course.  She had some leftovers from her party so it was my job to make them shine.

Ratatouille Anglaise
Oregano, Basil, and Thyme Vinaigrette for the salad
Parsley Mayonnaise and a Paprika, Garlic, and Pepper rub for the sirloin burgers.

For dessert Justin from Poofpastries.blogspot.com was over the day before and left some of his vegan cupcakes. The one we tried had a whiskey icing, it.was.awesome! I can’t believe how good those things are.

She told me that was the first time in about two years that the Kitchen-Aid mixer was used. Crazy…….. I don’t even have a mixer!
