With Chef Bradley Gilberson from Cucina Fresca at the helm and a few high caliber Art Institute Culinary Students the Eat Local Now event in West Seattle was a hit.  Chef Gilberson lead the crew to daylight and we all managed to crank out 7 courses of food to over 200 people. It’s the first time I’ve broken a sweat in a kitchen and I’m sure it won’t be the last.

I had a few minutes to talk with Chef Gilberson and ask him about his journey to owning Cucina Fresca and he told me a lot of great things. I would tell you but I’m keeping them for myself… People like Chef Gilberson is the reason I am happy I made to the decision to pursue this whole Chef thing. He broke it down for me and gave me another view on the culinary world. I think there are great things to come and I hope that I will be able to deliver.

Thanks again Chef and Eat Local Now for hosting a great event.

Great celebration. I am happy that you and other students were able to join a great celebration. Local food is the best and I support them 100%. Great pictures.
