Boom Noodle: Seattle, WA

I came back from Fresno and one of the first things I wanted to do was eat Pho. I have been hearing wonderful things about Boom Noodle so Mindy and I decided to make the trip over to Capitol Hill and visit the boomingest of noodle places!

The atmosphere is nice and warm (I had some video but it was too dark to pick up the details…oh darn, I’ll just have to go again!!!) so we settled in and checked out the menu.  I was amazed at the presentations of the food that was coming out of the kitchen but I was here for one thing after a long trip……PHO.   Mindy ordered a coconut curry and we decided on a sizzling toban beef appetizer. Before I show you the pictures of the food I would like to apologize ahead of time……I am trying to figure out the best way to take minimal light pictures with my camera so I used this as kind of a guinea pig moment.  The food is much better than these photos suggest!

Coconut Curry- rice noodles, chicken, bean sprouts, green onion, red curry broth, cilantro and lime

Pho Ga- rice noodle, chicken, sliced onion, bean sprouts, cilantro, basil, lime, jalapeño peppers, chicken-pork broth…..oh, and lots of Rooster sauce added by me :)

I now have two places that I will eat Pho at after this. My local place in Federal Way and now Boom Noodle. I am going to be visiting their restaurant in Bellevue soon because I will be spending a lot more time up there in the near future.

Thanks Boom!
