Ingredients:
-1 lb. ground elk meat
-1 10 ounce can tomato sauce
-2 10 ounce cans stewed tomatoes
-2 10 ounce cans pinto beans, drained
-2 tbsp. ground chipotle pepper
-1 tsp. salt
-1 tsp. ground black pepper
-1/2 white onion, diced
-1 slice bacon
-1 tsp. Italian seasoning
In a large stock pot cook the bacon and saute the onion. Once the onion starts to turn clear add the rest of the ingredients and cook on medium-low heat for 35 minutes, stirring frequently (make sure you cover the stock pot with a lid while you are cooking).
