Chayote

March 19, 2009 by ericriveracooks

Hey everyone it’s me, Chayote! This squash-like vegetable is something you should try very soon. It has a great texture to cook with soups, stir frying, or just about anything. It’s pretty versatile. Like I said, it’s like squash but has a nice subtle sweet taste to it. Next time you’re at your local grocery store give it a try and you will be hooked! WIKIPEDIA: CHAYOTE
